Responsibilities: • Manage and maintain database systems, including backups, performance tuning, security, and storage management • Monitor and optimize the performance of databases • Ensure database integrity and availability • Develop and implement database policies and procedures • Troubleshoot and resolve database issues • Monitor database system resource usage • Create and maintain database documentation Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field • 1+ years of experience with database administration • Knowledge of database design and development • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Skills: • Experience with database management systems • Knowledge of data replication, backup, and recovery techniques • Knowledge of database security best practices • Knowledge of database performance tuning and optimization
